Nollywood actress, Amanda Ebeye, is seriously heating up above the boiling point of water regarding media reports.

The actress has tried to avoid granting interviews to print medium and will be ready to jump at the visual medium when she is being approached with the excuse that the print tends to temper with what she has said.

She's currently not happy with viral reports that went rounds some weeks back that she was in love with an officer which is why she has been absent from the movie industry for a while and was trying to hide the relationship from her fans.

She could not hold back her anger as she decided to blow hot as she disclosed that negative things written about her is affecting her relationship with her man.

Amanda admitted that she is in a relationship but not with the said officer whom she met just once but with another man and the rumours have been affecting their love.

In her words, “It’s very pathetic how people can just seat down and cook up all sorts of things about someone. I don’t know this celeb police green news or whoever they are. That they know my family and how desperate I am. They even know my location, know my situation and know who I’m with.

You want stories on your blog so you don’t mind writing bull. I’m having issues in my relationship because you’re linking me to a man I met only once in my life, at an event. Please please please for the last time I have no business with this man. Please. I’m in a relationship; I’m not getting married now. When I’m ready you’ll definitely be invited. You say I’m hiding in Ghana and all sorts of things. Finally I’ll tell you to get your facts right before posting, because these horrible stories can be very hurtful. Thank you.”

Foreign mining company discovers world class high-grade Nickel in Kaduna State

Foreign mining company discovers world class high-grade Nickel in Kaduna State

According to The Australian reports, mining industry veteran, Hugh Morgan, heads a private syndicate that has made a potentially world class, and highly unusual, nickel discovery close to Dangoma, Kaduna State.

The discovery is unusual because the nickel is found in small balls up to 3mm in diameter of a high purity in shallow soils in what could be the surface expression of a much bigger hard-rock nickel field.

The nickel balls, rumoured to grade better than 90% nickel and thought to be a world first, offer the potential for early cashflow from a simple and low-cost screening operation to fund a full assessment of the find that has exploration circles buzzing.

Earlier this month, Nigeria’s Minister for Solid Minerals, Kayode Fayemi, told Bloomberg that about $5bn would kickstart the mining sector. He said: “In two to five years, we want to have started production of iron ore, lead, zinc, bitumen, nickel, coal and gold at a serious scale.”

Rio Olympics: Senate set to probe Dalung Nomso Obiajuru 10 minutes ago 1 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Send email – The Senate will probe the role of Solomon Dalung over team Nigeria’s poor performance at the just concluded Rio Olympic games – Senator Joe Ogba says only President Buhari can sack Dalung – Ogba criticizes Nigeria Under 23 team for collecting money from a Japanese plastic surgeon and football enthusiast, Dr. katsuya Takasu The Senate has revealed plans to probe the roles of Solomon Dalung and the Nigeria Olympics Committee (NOC), over team Nigeria’s poor performance at the just concluded Rio Olympic games. This follows a third place finish by the Nigeria U23 team, which gave the country’s contingent its only medal at the competition. According to Senator Joe Obinna Ogba, chairman of the Senate Committee on Sports, a lot of factors ranging from poor funding to logistics, contributed to Nigeria’s abysmal performance at the Olympics Games Speaking to newsmen on Thursday, August 25, in Abuja, Ogba said the Senate will look into the circumstances when it resumes from recess next month, The Sun reports. Ogba, who was part of the official delegation to Brazil, said: “My committee intends to invite the NOC to come and brief us on the Olympics. Apart from the late arrival of our athletes’ kits, you can see even our national anthem at the opening ceremony was the wrong one. So, all these, we are going to find out what happened when we resume.” On the donation of $390,000 to the Dream Team VI by a Japanese plastic surgeon and football enthusiast, Dr. katsuya Takasu, the lawmaker said it was wrong of the team to receive the money because, its source was unknown. “I do not think it was nice for our country to accept such money, given the happenings around world now. Money is good, but it’s not every money that comes your way that you collect. So, I associate myself fully with the President of the Nigeria Football Federation,” he noted. On the calls for the resignation of Minister Dalung, Ogba said such calls were not part of Nigeria’s culture, as only the president can hire and fire a minister. He therefore urged Nigerians to plead with President Muhammadu Buhari to release adequate funds to the Ministry of Sports in order for it to fulfil its obligations. “So, I associate myself fully with the President of the Nigeria Football Federation,” he noted.
