The Ooni of Ife, Oba Ogunwusi, came under attack for singing at a church that Jesus is his Father.

Afrobeat music artiste and son of legendary musician Fela Kuti who openly practiced Yoruba traditional worship, condemned the monarch, calling it a shame.

The Ooni this evening has commented on the matter again on his Instagram page with the above photo stating –

We are tagged as idol worshippers, but truth be told we are not idol worshippers. Our traditions give all the glory, adoration and honor to the almighty God which we know as Olodumare. #OoniofIfe

Nigerian female music artiste, Tiwa Savage is featured in the latest edition of Elle South Africa magazine’s tagged “Keeping Up With Tiwa”.

The young woman talked about how she used to be a tomboy before her glam days, her deal with Roc Nation and the fact that her private life was recently subjected to public spectacle.
This is what she said about her private life: 

My biggest failure was exposing my private life too much. There will always be speculation, but by addressing it you are adding more fuel to the fire. I now choose not to address anything.”

Hmm! The controversial Catholic priest, Ejike Mbaka, is at it again. This time he has revealed that there are plans being undertaken to eliminate President Muhammadu Buhari over his uncompromising stand on corruption.

In a video message, the clergyman urged the devotees at his popular Adoration Ground in Enugu to desist from speaking ill against Buhari.

His words:

“So I want to tell you that so far, God is happy with Buhari.
And him whom God has blessed, may you not try to accurse, because God will curse you.”  “Many people are planning, as it is revealed, to kill him. There are many plans on how to eliminate his life so that corruption will continue, so that quantum embezzlement will continue.
Go ahead and war against evil. President Buhari, go ahead and war against corruption. President Buhari, God and his people are behind you, you are the answer of the prayers of the people, amen.’”
The priest attributed the hardship to past leaders who corruptly enriched themselves.

“They succeeded in removing the liver, kidneys, and cardiovascular systems of this country, and paralyzed the neurological organs and handed over to Buhari, the new president, shambles, skeleton almost, a nation that is comatic. “Nigeria right now, economically, security wise, is in the intensive care unit.
If the oxygen is removed, Nigeria will go. “All the money voted for road constructions were swindled, eaten. Many of them became millionaires and billionaires in Naira, in Dollars, in Pounds, in Euro. Billionaires, when they have no workshop, no business centre. Somebody who has nothing he’s doing, yet he’s a billionaire, because he’s a politician.”

Why this defamation? But she enjoyed her time with this guy...Funny! After sharing Whatsapp pictures of Usain Bolt relaxing in bed with her, 20-year-old student, Jady Duarte, says she is “dying of shame” after the snaps went viral.

 

In one of the photos, the Olympian appears to be lying topless on top of the student snuggling

up to her neck while she uses her free hand to take a selfie of the pair together from behind him. Ah!

  I doubt whether Bolt knew that the snapshot was taken at the time. 

 

 

 

 

 

Local newspaper Extra reports that Duarte says that the impact of the pictures has not been good for her. She explains: “It’s very negative. I never wanted to be famous, I’m dying of shame.”

Duarte insisted that she just shared the pics among her friends, not expecting the whole world to see them. She added:

“I just sent it to the group of my girlfriends, now you see…
“I just sent and said ‘anyone who saw the Olympics will know who is.”

Local newspaper Extra also reports she also claimed to have no idea who Bolt was – despite the extrovert sprinter’s notorious worldwide fame.

Duarte says she was at the club All In in Barra in the West Zone of Rio, with friends when “Bolt spotted her“. She said:

“He sent a security guard to call me over. We spoke quickly.
“But at that moment I didn’t know it was him, because there were many Jamaicans who looked similar.”

 

 

 

Duarte fell short of revealing more details of what happened next – other than to say:

“It was not a big deal. It was normal.
“I’d rather not talk about it – in order not to complicate matters.
“Like I said, it was normal.”

It’s also emerged that Bolt was allegedly briefly following Duarte on Instagram – one of just 104 people he was following – but that ‘follow‘ appears to have since been deleted.

Having concluded the 2016 Rio Olympics, renowned sprinter, Usain Bolt, has not only been involved in a scandal with a 20-year old girl, but also, he’s said to be a member of the popularly known occult,'illuminati'.

A conspiracy theorist who uses the username “The Vigilant Christian” on YouTube claims Usain Bolt is an illuminati member and claims he has proof.

 

 

 

The theorist says that the runner uses Masonic hand symbols when he’s on the world stage, as well as wearing jewellery that is a tell-tale sign of his involvement with the group.

He even went ahead to suggest that the sprinter is the devil himself saying:

“The guy’s name is Bolt. OK? Lightning bolt. And Jesus said that he saw Satan fall to earth ‘like lightning‘. The subliminal messaging is too overwhelming to believe this is all coincidence.”

 

 

On his YouTube channel, The Vigilant Christian wrote:

“In this video I point out the Illuminati connection and symbolism of Usain Bolt. The world is a stage and more of it orchestrated than you can imagine.”

Nigerian Catholic Bishops have deplored an alleged move by the Minister of Health, in collaboration with foreign organizations to encourage abortion among women in Nigeria.

In a communiqué issued at the end of a 3-day second plenary meeting, the Bishops kicked against the alleged move by the Minister of Health, Prof Isaac Adewole, in collaboration with foreign organizations, to encourage abortion by increasing the culture of contraception among Nigerian women.

 

The clerics described the move by the federal government as an ‘anti-life policy’ after the plenary meeting held in Akure, Ondo State capital on Wednesday.

 

The communiqué signed by its President and Archbishop of Ibadan, Gabriel Abegunrin and Secretary, Bishop Felix Ajakaye noted that

 

 “the policy is being done all in the name of providing better maternal health and empowering our people.”
The communiqué reads: “We see such moves as deceptive to our people and harmful to moral values and we ask Nigerians to reject them

on Wednesday condemned the recent move by the Minister of Health, Prof Adewole in collaboration with the foreign agencies to commit the federal government to increasing the culture of contraception and subsequently, abortion among our people” , Vanguard reports.

Audacious Ekiti Governor, Mr Ayo Fayose, has said the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC wants the‎ Peoples Democratic Party, PDP dead as its a virile opposition to its obnoxious policies. The Governor said such a development would not, however, be in the interest of the country and Nigerians at large.

In a statement by the governor's Chief Press Secretary, Mr Idowu Adelusi, the governor was quoted as saying that a virile opposition was a vital ingredient for democracy and necessary to make democracy thrive.

Fayose, who could not attend the convention owing to the blockade of the road leading to the Old Presidential Lodge of the Rivers State government house where he was accommodated, said the condoning off of the Sharks Stadium, Port Harcourt by the police on the orders of the Inspector General of Police, had the input of the APC-led Federal Government, saying the police only acted the script written by the APC-led government.

"I witnessed what the police did early today in Port Harcourt, it is most unfortunate. It has shown that we are indeed in a perilous time in the country. The APC is desperate to kill opposition and silence others‎ because they are afraid that their inability to properly govern the country and tackle the challenges facing us as a nation would be exposed by a virile PDP.

"The Buhari government is dictatorial. There is tension everywhere.‎ All sectors are down and they are focusing on killing the opposition.‎ xxxWhat business has APC with PDP internal matters?

"If they said they wanted to act on court orders, why didn't they act on more than four orders that were in favour of the Markafi group?‎ They don't have answers to the terrible situations in the country but they know that an organised PDP will be embloden to challenge them," he said.

The governor wondered what would have happened if the PDP acted like the APC and refused to hand over to the APC last year. Fayose said it was unfortunate that Senator Ali Modu Sheriff had turned himself to an instrument in the hands of APC leaders to destablise the PDP.
