QPR's Matthew Phillips Scores The Longest Goal Of The Season In The Premier League (See Photo)
Queens Park Rangers were left deep in the relegation mire after yet another
defeat but Matt Phillipsmay well have scored the goal of the season at
Selhurst Park.
Crystal Palace came out on top 3-1 in the Premier League's lunchtime
kick-off, but Phillips' second half consolation goal took the headlines.
Phillips’ strike was the goal from the longest distance in the Premier
League this season at 40 yards.
He picked the ball up on halfway, strode forward a few yards and unleashed
an unstoppable drive into Julian Speroni's top right-hand corner. That was amazing!
