Don't Be Fooled, Mr. President By Adesina Oluwaseun

Don't Be Fooled, Mr. President By Adesina Oluwaseun

Enjoy this write up by Adesina Oluwaseun;
Your story is a very inspirational one, after a vigorous campaign, you finally emerged on your fourth try as the 4th president of the 4th republic, 30 years after you were ousted as the military leader of Nigeria. This victory certainly indicates that God was in support of your bid. I humbly congratulate you and your Vice and the All Progressive Congress and all those who believe in the "change movement."
Sir, do not be fooled by political praise singers looking for one or two things to get from the government and do not have anything tangible to offer the country in the way of the national development but their own pockets.. They are strategic planners who play the role of eye service to any government of the day, they portray their principal as a saint and a mini-god as long as their needs are met, and won't be able to tell you the hard truth.
They paint the atmosphere that their principal is always. These are the worst people as they distract the government from achieving its purpose right and he his the best man that can do the job right in delivering the dividends of democracy to the masses, they are worst and distract the government from achieving its purposes.
Sir, Nigerians are not patient people who can endure for a longer time, they are so hungry and thirsty to feel the dividends of democracy as they have waited too long for it. What an average Nigerian wants now is to experience constant power supply, see good roads, have water flow from their taps, not be given a N3500 condition in hospitals before they can be treated, solid education in public schools and a viable environment that would enable the business ideas to grow and flourish, be able to sleep soundly amongst others.
If within the next one year, nothing is forthcoming in this direction, the names called the former president will be nothing compared to what you will be called Sir, both from your opponents and supporters alike, since the same sun and rain shines and falls on them both. Sir, the same people who are singing your praise now are the same people hoping you can deliver on your campaign promises and your developmental change agenda for the country.
May I remind you Mr. President that the next general election will take place in 2019 . do not wait till 2018 to start any "programmes you should have put in place in 2015 as they would be seen as campaign trick to woo voters, mist especially for your party, that is in case you decide not to go for a second term. And if you are able to put the country on the path of greatness, Nigerians will clamor for you and your party's return.
You have all you need to succeed support from both Nigerians and the international community, thus you have no excuses for failure. If you are able to do this much needed thing for Nigerians, your name and that of your team will be etched in gold. This is an opportunity Sir, do not fritter it away like your predecessor did!
