Protest In London Over Killing Of Shiite Muslims By Nigeria Army Personnel
The
clash between the Nigerian Army and members of the Islamic Movement in
Nigeria, a shi’a muslim group, in Zaria has continued to generate
reactions from within and outside the country.
On Sunday, the Islamic Human Rights Commission (IHRC) stormed the Nigerian High Commission in London, United Kingdom, to express their support for the group and condemn the army for the attack that has been described as “unprovoked” in many quarters.
Members of the IHRC could be seen with placards with different inscriptions including “Nigerian Army are killing unarmed civilians now”.
