President Obama To Meet President Buhari At G7 Summit
U.S president, Barack Obama is to meet with President Muhammadu Buhari
this week at the G-7 summit in Germany where they are expected to
discuss the Boko Haram insurgency in the Northeast. President Buhari
departs Abuja today for the summit.
According to the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, the invitation of President Buhari to the meeting shows clearly that the international community is willing to cooperate with the new government of Nigeria.

Obama according to schedule, is to spend today and tomorrow with Buhari
and the leaders of Canada, Germany, Italy, Japan and the United Kingdom
as well as leaders from Iraq and Tunisia.
