What Arsenal need to do to win the Premier League -- Thierry Henry

THEIRRY HENRY believes if Arsenal sign another defensive midfielder in January they can win the Premier League.

 

The Gunners currently sit second in the table following their 2-0 win against Aston Villa on Sunday.

But Arsene Wenger's squad are currently in the midst of an injury crisis that could derail their title hopes, with key midfielders Francis Coquelin, Santi Cazorla and Jack Wilshere all sidelined.

 

And Arsenal legend Henry wants to see another holding player signed in January to provide cover for Mathieu Flamini and give the Gunners a chance of winning their first title since 2004.

 

"It’s a hard one, because for me right now I think Arsenal’s squad is good enough to win the league," Henry said at a Q&A session which took place at Facebook in London. 

"What we need is some backup to make sure we have a guy that can hold the fort if Flamini gets injured.

"The position would be holding midfielder for me, and with Arsenal they are at the top and the amount of injuries they’ve had is not normal.

 

"When those guys come back they can be your new signings. But we keep saying that! I will have answered that [question of who they should sign] properly if the whole team was there, but the boss never has everyone available."
