Obasanjo Shocks Nigerians As He Storms The Inauguration of PDP National Convention Committee

There are insinuations that former President Obasanjo might be joining force with his former party, PDP to retake power from the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government in 2019. 

Surprisingly, the former President on Friday, August 5, stormed the venue of the inauguration of the Peoples Democratic Party's (PDP) National Convention committee, which was held at the Shehu Musa Yar’adua Centre.

 

You would recall that Obasanjo in 2015 tore his PDP membership card in Abeokuta, Ogun State, to mark his exit from the party.





However, unconfirmed reports have it that Obasanjo might be joining force with the party to retake power from the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government in 2019.
It was gathered that efforts by journalists to ascertain Obasanjo's purpose at the venue was futile.
