General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, the Nigeria’s former military President has denied having twitter account or any other account in the social media through which anybody could relate with.

Babangida in a press release signed by one of his aides who is a publisher of an online magazine, Alhaji Iliyasu Dhacko, Ajiya Minna and made available to newsmen on Friday, said he was miffed by the disclosure recently of spurious use of his name by some dubious elements on a social media account.

According to police reports, 24 year old Nigerian Ozeivo Andrew Akerele (pictured above) has been declared missing after he failed to return to his apartment from a night out with his friends on January 30th. Ozeivo, a new entrant at the Coventry University, UK was last seen at Iglu club on Spon street where he went to hang out with his friends.

Pictured above is Chris Eza, former ADC to Bauchi State Governor, Superintendent of Police, was yesterday February 26th in Bauchi, shot dead by a more junior Mobile police officer.

According to family sources, Chris Eza had gone out to get food at an eatery along Ahmadu Bello way around 9pm when he saw some police officers on patrol.

Ira Peterson, 79, of Alabama (United States) allegedly shot her nephew after she thought he stole $20 from her purse.

The pair live together, so Peterson instinctively blamed her nephew for the missing money once she realized it was gone.

2015 JAMB CBT Exam Commencement Date Announced

The management of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the date for the 2015 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Computer Based Test (CBT).

The JAMB PRO, Mr Fabian Benjamin, who made the announcement said that the exam is scheduled to commence on Monday, 9th March, 2015.

LASU refunds N209million school fees to students

The Lagos state government has refunded N209m to students of the Lagos state University following the reversal of school fees by Lagos State University, LASU.

At a ceremony held at the Main auditorium of the Ojo campus of the school yesterday February 26th, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Education, Fatai Olukoga who represented Gov. Fashola, said this was the first phase in the refund exercise.

PDP And Jonathan Plotting To Remove Jega –APC Senators Raise Alarm

Members of the All Progressives Congress in the Senate on Thursday alleged that there was a fresh plot by the Federal Government to prevent the Independent National Electoral Commission Chairman, Attahiru Jega, from superintending over the forthcoming general elections.

The APC senators, led by George Akume, told a news conference in Abuja that they heard from a reliable source that the Head of Service would direct Jega to proceed on his pre-retirement leave next week.

“We have received information from a very credible source that next week, the Chairman of INEC will be given a letter from the office of the Head of the Civil Service to proceed on a terminal leave,” they said.

The lady, who gave her name simply as Adijatu towards the end of the video attached to this report, said she organized the 100 persons from Manchester in the United Kingdom for the purpose of the pro-Jonathan protest.

The rented crowd also protested against the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Major General Muhammadu Buhari.
