President Buhari Suspends Immigration Boss

President Muhammadu Buhari has suspended the Comptroller General of Nigeria Immigration Service, David Parradang, with immediate effect.

This is contained in a statement signed by the Director of Press, Federal Ministry of Interior, Mr. Yusuf Isiaka Alhaji, on behalf of the permanent secretary of the ministry on Friday in Abuja.

The statement said the Deputy Comptroller-General of Immigration, Mr. Martin Kure Abeshi, had been directed to take over the affairs of the office.

Abeshi is the most senior officer after Parradang, the statement added.

At least 16 ISIS fighters who contracted HIV after having unprotected sex with two Moroccan sex slaves have been ordered to carry out suicide attacks, a doctor forced to treated them has claimed.
The men, most of whom are foreign fighters, were treated at an ISIS-run hospital in the east-Syrian city of Al-Mayadeen and then quarantined, it is reported.

ISIS beheaded a fighter who knowingly allowed his HIV-infected blood to be transfused to another terrorist this year. The fighters had sex with the women before it was later revealed they had HIV, medical sources told ARA News.

The source, whose name has not been reported, said they were ‘ordered by the group’s leadership’ to quarantine the infected in the city centre. He also said the Moroccan women escaped to Turkey because they feared ISIS would execute them.

It caused widespread panic among the group’s leadership which will ‘assign suicide attacks for militants who tested positive with HIV,’ an activist in Al-Mayadeen told ARA.

In June, ISIS executed an Indonesian fighter for knowingly passing on the disease on to his 15-year-old Yazidi sex slave and donating his blood to an ISIS-run hospital.

An Egyptian extremist who received his blood and two Saudi-nationals who raped the teenager all contracted it.

An investigation into the Indonesian’s medical records revealed he knew he was a carrier before joining ISIS in September 2013, local activists Sound and Picture claimed.

Its undercover journalists revealed that ISIS has been carrying out extensive blood tests on all fighters since the Aids scare.

He told another anti-ISIS activist group, Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently, that the terror group set up an Aids-detection centre in Al-Mayadeen.

A doctor working there said ISIS commanders ‘stressed the need to check each drop of blood transferred to IS members,’ the journalist claimed.

Hospitals in Islamic State’s adopted capital, Raqqa, has suffered from a lack of equipment which detects Aids for more than two years, Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently claimed in July.The activists said transfusions had been carried out with blood or safety tests to check if it was disease-free.

It said the virus is prevalent in ISIS because a large number of fighters ‘are drug addicts or have criminal backgrounds’ and disease spreads quickly because the extremists frequently swap wives and sex slaves.

Following alleged forgery of University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) Certificate by one lawmaker representing Aba North State Constituency, Mr. Emeka Nnamani, the institution has through its Registrar disowned the lawmaker, Nnamani as a graduate of the University, saying he did not graduate.

The National and State Assembly Election Tribunal sitting in Umuahia was told that Mr. Emeka Nnamani representing Aba North State Constituency allegedly forged a University of Port Harcourt certificate he submitted to INEC for the April 2015 elections.

Nnamani was also alleged to still be a member of the PDP in his home State, Enugu while he contested the election on the platform of APGA in Abia State where he resides.

These were the submissions of Dr. [Mrs.] Blessing Nwagba of the PDP who is challenging the election of Emeka Nnamani at the tribunal.

Meanwhile, the tribunal headed by Justice S. Yahuzu has admitted in evidence a letter from the Registrar of the University of Port Harcourt disowning Nnamani as a graduate of the University.

Two gallant soldiers died as Nigerian army raid Boko Haram camp in Borno

According to a statement released by the Nigerian Army, troops of 7 Brigade today Friday August 21st cleared Gudumbali town, Kukawa LGA of Borno State, of Boko Haram terrorists. Two soldiers died while two others were seriously injured during the raid. See full statement below

OperationLafiyaDole. Troops of 7 Brigade have today entered and cleared Gudumbali town, Kukawa Local Government Area of Borno State. During the operation, quite a number of the

terrorists were killed their weapons and equipment were destroyed. The troops are currently doing
clearance operations in the general area. It should be recalled that the Nigerian Air Force has inflicted heavy damage on the terrorist’s camps within the general area last Monday.

Unfortunately, two soldiers lost their lives, while two others were critically injured. The bodies of the two gallant soldiers have been evacuated, to the rear, while the other two wounded soldiers have also been evacuated and are receiving treatment at the military hospital. The unit also lost a Mowag Armoured Personnel Carrier due to the buried landmine between old Marte and Kerenoa junction, BornoState.

Despite this sad event, troops are not deterred as they continued their advance and pursuing the terrorists to their enclaves in Sambisa forest. Similarly, it is important to note that troops in the various formations and units in #OperationLAFIYADOLE are in high spirit and more determined to destroy the terrorists camps and enclaves.

A teenage boy met a brutal death after four students hacked him with a machete and buried him alive.Two attackers then had sex near his shallow grave, police said.

The group plotted the gruesome murder of Jose Amaya Guardado for two weeks, digging the grave and hiding the machete in woods near their Florida university campus.
Kaheem Arbelo, 20, Jonathan Lucas, 18, and Christian Colon, 19, were arrested and confessed to the crime last week, Miami-Dade police said.

The students are believed to have lured Guardado to woods near the Homestead Job Corps campus, where all five lived around 35 miles south of Miami.

Arbelo, Lucas and Colon then allegedly ambushed Guardado and Arbelo struck him repeatedly with the machete.

Strickland "complained that she had missed the first series of machete strikes because she had walked away for a few minutes to urinate in the woods," according to the arrest report

The victim attempted to fight off his attackers but was outnumbered and repeatedly beaten with the machete "until his face caved in", police said.
The teenager was then made to lay in the grave where he died before the suspects attempted to burn the evidence.

Lucas and Colon returned to campus while Strickland and Arbelo stayed behind to have sex, police said.
Guardado's body was discovered three days later by his brothers, who saw feet in a burned area and alerted police.

Police believe the teenager was killed over a debt he owed to Arbelo, a suspected drug dealer, NBC Miami reported.

Arbelo, Lucas and Colon confessed to the killings on video, New York Daily News reported.
Strickland, however, shoved and head-butted a detective before she was handcuffed in the interview room, police said.

REPORT: 22 Boko Haram members hid among Nigerians deported from Cameroun -NEMA

National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has discovered 22 Boko Haram members among Nigerians deported from Cameroun. The returnees were settled at the internally displaced persons (IDPs) camp in Mubi, Adamawa, State.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Director General of NEMA, Mr, Muhammad Sani Sidi, who disclosed this yesterday in Abuja stated that, the Boko Haram members were identified with a peculiar mark on their backs.

“The Camerounian government dumped 12,000 Nigerians at Mubi and we had to move them to transit camps and even open more camps to accommodate them.
“Ninety per cent of these returnees are from Borno State with a lot of Boko Haram elements among them.
“We arrested 22 of them yesterday, who were actually planning an attack, they were identified with a mark inscribed on their backs with hot iron in form of tattoos. The mark on their backs indicates that they are ready to die,’’ Sidi said.

Chai! President Buhari's New Appointee Under Fire Over 'Fake Doctorate Degree'

There are Mixed reactions over the educational credibility of President Muhammadu Buhari's latest appointee, Williams Babatunde Fowler, who is to head Nigeria’s Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS).

A report by online news portal, SaharaReporters, claiming Fowler's honorary doctorate degree, which he purportedly bagged from a United Kingdom institution known as “Irish International University” is a fraud fuelled the reactions, with many blaming the Buhari administration for negligence, while others are on the defensive.

Shortly, after the Presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina announced Fowler's appointment on Thursday, August 20, and reeled out his academic qualification, a University professor based in the United State Farooq Kperogi, took to Facebook to discredit the candidate and the appointment.

He wrote;

“After months of delays, ostensibly to properly vet his appointees, President Buhari just appointed somebody that may turn out to be a total fraud. He appointed a certain "Dr." William Babatunde Fowler as the Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS). In a news release signed by Femi Adesina, this red flag appears on the man's qualifications: "Fowler, who holds an Honorary Doctorate Degree [sic] of the Irish International University, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and the Business Management Association of the United Kingdom." Well, Irish International University is a fraudulent, non-existent university (see http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/education/7175730.stm).

“Second, the Committee of Vice Chancellors in Nigeria has ruled that people with even legitimate honorary doctorates cannot prefix "Dr." to their names, as is the practice globally (see http://www.farooqkperogi.com/.../finally-some-good-news...). I fear that if this Fowler's other qualifications are looked into, a big scandal may break out. His bachelor's degree, for instance, is said to be from the "University of Wisconsin" and his master's degree from "California State University.

“The trouble is, University of Wisconsin and California State University are multiple-campus universities; you can't just say you attended the University of Wisconsin without mentioning the location. The University of Wisconsin has 26 campuses, and California State University has 23 campuses. Something is fishy here!”

However, in a detailed listing of Fowler's education background,Wikipedia did not mention his 'Honorary Doctorate Degree' from the Irish International University in its citation.

Furthermore, SR report pointed out that the 'Irish International University' is operated by a United Kingdom aristocrat, Professor Baron Knowth, who serves as the Honorary Chancellor of the Irish International University.

No reactions from neither the Presidency nor Fowler's quarters as at press time.

Coach Sunday Oliseh Reveals Why He Dropped Mikel

Head coach of the Super Eagles, Sunday Oliseh, has revealed that John Mikel Obi refused to show up for their meeting, while he was in London.

The Chelsea midfielder is one of the prominent names excluded, as Oliseh announced his 18-man foreign based squad this week and the former national team captain has explained what happened.

”I went to make contact, but I never got a reply or call back whereas Victor Moses came, we traveled to London and he (Mikel) was the only player that did not come for the appointment,” he said.

Nigeria will travel to Dar Es Salaam to play Tanzania next month, in an AFCON 2017 qualifying game.
