10 Things You Need To Know About Faleke, The Man Who May Succeed Audu

The sudden death of Prince Audu Abubakar, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in last Saturday’s governorship in Kogi state, has left many unanswered questions.
One such question is who will succeed him?

The APC candidate who died shortly after the election was leading the polls with 240,827 votes, against the 199, 514 votes polled by Governor Idris Wada, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) but the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the election inconclusive.

Audu is likely to be replaced by James Abiodun Faleke, his running mate in the gubernatorial elections but it may not be an easy ride for him.

Late Abubakar Audu’s running mate, Abiodun Faleke, broke down in tears during the burial.
The APC might have to conduct another round of primaries and Faleke may be put forward as one of the candidates. If he wins the primaries, he would get to contest for the Kogi governorship.

It’s A Shame You Still Haven’t Rescued Chibok Girls – Soyinka Tells Buhari

Nobel Laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka has described the Federal Government’s failure to rescue the missing Chibok girls as shameful. He said this yesterday while speaking at the inauguration of the N750 million Wole Soyinka Government High School in Ejigbo, Osun State, where he lashed out at President Muhammadu Buhari and his team over their failure to rescue the 219 Chibok schoolgirls for almost six months since Buhari assumed office.

“It is a shame that the nation cannot account for over 200 girls in Chibok. I sympathise with the religious policy of governments in school; children must not be brought up feeling that religion inhibits knowledge. “In schools, we need not distinguish our children, the fatalistic religious holiness and the holier-than-thou attitude must be reduced among our pupils, ” he said.

Funny enough, the convener and other advocates of the #BringBackOurGirls are no longer speaking. Why?

Kylie Jenner: Kris Gives Stamp of Approval to Tyga

Kylie Jenner clearly wanted to send a message Monday when she posted this video, and the message goes way further than showing everyone she's back with Tyga

Check out the fleeting glimpse of Kris Jenner. As we reported, some family members were elated Kylie had broken up with Tyga, because they didn't think he was right for her.

Kris apparently wanted to show her support for the relationship by posing next to Tyga's birthday cake.
BTW, in the world of the Kardashians ... that does not necessarily mean Kris approves.
