Mastermind of Agbara bank robbery arrested in Delta state

 

 

The mastermind of the robbery of some banks at Agbara Housing Estate in Ogun state last week Thursday, has been arrested in Sapele, Delta state. Operatives of the In­spector General Of Police, Special In­telligence Response Team (SIRT) arrested the gang leader who is known as Kelly Rotor at a wedding in Sapele yesterday where he was lavishing his own share of the loot. A pregnant woman and a police officer were killed in the process.

Kelly who was with some of his other gang members engaged the police in a shootout after they were rounded up. A police officer was killed during the shoot out.

Kelly who suffered gun shot wounds, was arrested and is now being interrogated. Police is currently working to get his other gang members arrested.

Kogi APC governorship election winner, Prince Audu Abubakar dies

 

 

The Igala APC candidate in the state's governorship election which was held yesterday November 21, 2015, reportedly slumped and died this afternoon. According to Sahara Report, Prince Audu died of undisclosed medical reasons shortly after INEC declared his victory at the elections inconclusive. The cause of his death is still unknown.

Female Suicide Bomber Kills 7 In IDPs Camp in Borno

 

 

A Female suicide bomber attacked an Internally Displaced People's camp in Borno state killing 7 persons today. According to eyewitnesses, the suicide bomber infiltrated a queue where IDPs were being screened for onward evacuation from Dikwa Local government council to a makeshift camp in Maiduguri. Three officials of the Civilian Joint Task Force were also injured in the attack.
