273 African migrants rescued today from the MediterraneanSea

 

 

No fewer than 273 lives were rescued by the Migrant Offshore Station (MOAS) responder crew this morning, September 14 from the Mediterranean Sea.

Safe aboard the Responder, post-rescue care was administered by the Italian Red Cross -Croce Italiana, International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies medics.

Water was distributed as people began to recover and started to feel safe for the first time in a long while.

Thank God the would-be tragedy was evaded.
