BUHARI'S CERTIFICATE SAGA

BUHARI AND THE NIGERIA ARMY

The Nigeria Army has denied having the WAEC Certificate of the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (rtd)

This was revealed by the Director, Army Public Relations Officer, Brig. Gen. Olajide Lalaye in a press briefing held in Abuja.

According to Brig. Gen. Laleye, records available indicate that Major General Muhammadu Buhari applied to join the military as a form 6 student of the Provincial Secondary School, Katsina on 18th October, 1961, and was duly endorsed by the Principal of the school, who also wrote a report on him and recommended him to be suitable for the military commission.

A selection board usually verifies original copies of credentials of candidates shortlisted into the military service.

Could this be a propaganda against the retired General?

LAGBAJA: Is He Still Alive?

Surprised to hear the name? The mysterious always-marked Afrobeat musician has been out of limelight for a long time now but suddenly surfaced after collecting his PVC (Permanent Voter's Card) in readiness for the February 14 Presidential election.

The singer and writer does not belief in the government of president Goodluck Jonathan, and as such made bold to say that no second term for the president. He stated this on his facebook page:

"Congratulations Nigeria! I don collect my Voter's Card! Therefore...No 2nd Term for President Jonathan!"

Let's see whether the song he sang some years back " Lagbaja... nothing for you!" will be remixed by pro Jonathan for him.
