 Nigerian Artiste Wizkid expresses satisfaction over disbandment of SARS 

Award-winning Nigerian artiste Wizkid has expressed satisfaction over the disbandment of Special Anti-Robbery Squad.

Mohammed Adamu, the inspector general of police on Sunday, October 11, bowed to pressure from Nigerians who took to the streets to demand disbandment of the police unit.

During the EndSARS protest in London, Wizkid advised Nigerians to shun anyone who says they do not have a voice. The Joro crooner made the statement during the EndSARS protest in London where he addressed Nigerians and has expressed satisfaction over the disbandment of Special Anti-Robbery Squad. Here is what he  said:



 “As I speak to you right now, on my way here, the IGP in Nigeria has disbanded SARS. So Nigerian youths, don’t let anyone tell you you don’t have a voice. You all have a voice, and Nigerians deserve good government. Right now, I want to say thank you to everyone for coming out today. We have achieved our goal and this is just the beginning. Thank you so much for coming out. We won. Now let’s go home.
