Barely 24 hours after he married Cape Verde beauty queen, Iara Fortes, Edo
state Governor, Adams Oshiomole participated in the annual 10kilometers
Okpekpe road race alongside top Edo personalities, Nollywood artistes
and others.
Oshiomhiole, who ran within the 10km VIP category, said although he did not win the competition, his participation in the race showed he can still do what young people can do

“I worked hard but was not successful. To do 10 kilometers after the wedding assured me that I am capable and strong to what young people can do” he said.

Ghanaian this evening took to the streets of Accra to protest the continued epileptic power supply being
experienced in their country. Interestingly, we've never protested against power outage like these guys.

An event occurred this evening in VGC where a young man connived with three other men to
kidnap his boss, the owner of Victoria Water Services from the airport
but unfortunately their plan was truncated.
The lady they almost kidnapped narrated how she had called her driver to pick her from the
airport, and she was surprised when some men entered from the back when
the doors were supposed to be locked. More photos below
As they were driving towards Aja,
they found themselves in traffic and as the driver tried to reverse, it
hit another car and that was when the woman opened the door and jumped
from the vehicle and started screaming that they were trying to kidnap
her.
People chased the car and managed to pull one of the criminals from the
car who was seriously beaten (as pictured) and handed over
to the police at VGC. Other criminals are yet to be apprehended.
