Last Ebola Patient In Liberia Discharged (Photo)

Liberia discharged its last confirmed Ebola patient on Thursday, as it reported for the first time in nine months it had gone a full week without any new infections.

Beatrice Yordoldo left the Chinese-built Ebola treatment unit (ETU) in the Paynesville suburb of the capital Monrovia to cheers from healthcare workers, government officials and aid workers.

(Photo) Delta Airline plane skids off runway, crashes into fence

A Delta Airlines flight skidded off the runway at LaGuardia Airport, in New York this morning and crashed into a fence as it tried to land.

The crash was due to bad weather. One passenger said they felt serious turbulence as they landed and the plane didn't slow down as it hit the runway until it smashed into the fence, inches from the water. All 149 passengers were quickly evacuated. About 20 people reported minor injuries, and three of those people were taken to the hospital.

AIT sues Tinubu for N100billion

Bola Tinubu's media office released a statement on Monday saying they are set to sue Daar Communications, owners of AIT for what he said was a defamatory content of a documentary aired on Sunday about him on their station. Tinubu asked the TV station to retract the documentary, issue a letter of apology and demanded N20billion as cost of damage done to his reputation.
