Woman Kills 3 Children, Eats Their Intestine (See)

The vampire woman

A 20-year-old Kenyan woman, has confessed to killing three children, one of them her one-week old son, removed his intestines and ate them raw, reports Nairobi News.
The woman who lives in Korogocho, a slum in Nairobi, is said to have  have slit open her week-old son’s stomach, removed his intestines and ate them before going to her friend’s house and killing two other children.

The friend, Nelius Muthoni, told the police that the vampire woman came to her house in the morning and attacked her by trying to strangle her.

“She kept asking me why I named my son Peter Kimani and asked if I knew that my mother-in-law had been eating me. She said a lot of things and even said that there were demons inside me.
I ran out of the house to seek help from neighbours and when they arrived, they found her holding my 10-days-old son by the neck and under her feet was my 4-year-old daughter. She was stepping on her neck.

The neighbours pushed her out of the house and tried to help the children but they were announced dead at a nearby clinic."

When she was pushed out of the house, the woman is said to have run to the Korogocho Administration Police post where she reported that she had killed her child.
A police officer said:

“As we were interrogating her, neighbours who learnt that Muthoni’s children had died, also came here. They wanted to beat her but we shielded her."

A neighbour who was at the police post said the woman did not seem shaken and even asked for a soda at some point.

The police have also concluded plans to take her for a medical examination to ascertain her state of mental health.

'OBJ, The Destined Born Leader' By Adesina Oluwaseun

Adesina writes about former president of Nigeria Olusegun Obasanjo. Enjoy!
I have always wondered, what this great "Owu Man" has done to Almighty God to deserve this tremendous and uncommon favor, the answer I got each time I have the course to ask this question is just a Phrase" he who God has blessed no man can curse".
This erudite elder statesman wasn't born in the best hospital in any of the western developed countries in the world but born on the weekly market day at Ibogun, Ifo, Ogun State. He never schooled in Harvard nor Cambridge but an old student of the prestigious Baptist Boys High School, Abeokuta, coupled with some military certificates with discipline and individual self development, with undeniable God favor are what has continually distinguish him amongst his contemporaries.
On Friday, June 20th, 2015, at the 32nd annual plenary meeting of former Heads of State and Government in the world in Newport, United Kingdom, the past leaders in Europe could not find a capable leader amongst them, the great past leaders in America could not find a credible leader within them, the vibrant and innovative people of Asia could not get a man of integrity, the leaders of South America could not get an outspoken leader, in Australia they could not get a leader to be trusted but came to african, Nigeria in particular, to appoint a leader born to lead with direction and purpose, no other person dose this cap fit in the continent of Africa than the amiable "Balogun of Owu Kingdom" (Chief Olusegun Okikiola Matthew Obasanjo) a former Military head of states and two time civilian head of states in Nigeria.
Chief Olusegun Obasanjo , you are indeed the definition of what God favor is, you are a role model to the younger generation all over the world with your firmness and control of leadership. You brought respect to the office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria while serving as the President within 1999 - 2007, indeed the western countries knows your in-depth value and prestige, they never allow you to rest before giving you a continental assignment in bringing peace to the continent of Africa and the world at large. Immediately you left office in 2007, this assignment has given Nigeria a place of honor among committee of nations through your prompt delivery of your assignment and service to the world.
Our dear "Baba", I will not join issue's with ignorant men and women , young or old who have not learnt how God always make somebody out of nobody in showing his Supernatural being to the world, who have continually tried to bringing you down through their selfish cheap political propaganda, I seek for more of your grace and favor in my life, as my mentor Kola Oyeyemi as always made me to understand that "The Anointing you don't respect you can never be blessed by it" I respect God favor in your life and pray for more sound health for you.
Indeed, you are a pride of African, Nigeria and YORUBA as a whole. I now realize the more people try to embarrass themselves, the more God always elevate you greater and greater to a deserving position. Now, it as been cleared you are no more "Ebora of Owu but Ebora Universe "I ask God to preserve and protect you in this your new assignment. We Nigeria youth are proud of your leadership and ask for longer life for you.
Congratulation our amiable God born leader and Newly appointed Chairman of Ex world Presidents, Chief Matthew Olusegun Okikiola Obasanjo.

Kenyan unveils his home-made plane in front of crowd and TV crew

A Kenyan man unveiled his home-made plane in front of crowd and television crew - only for it to crash down seconds after take off.

Gabriel Nderitu, from Othaya, central Kenya, assembled the aircraft himself and was making a sixth attempt to get it off the ground. The 48-year-old's invention set off and roared up a specially-made wooden ramp - only to nosedive seconds later just metres after take-off.

Crowds watched on and filmed the plane as it trundled across a make-shift airstrip before making its brief flight.

Fortunately nobody was injured because Mr Nderitu, who has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics from the University of Nairobi, was controlling the craft remotely.
Onlookers could be heard laughing as the plane dipped out of sight beyond the ramp, which was installed at Kiawara in Kieni West Sub-County.

But Mr Nderitu, who hired a team of five to help realise his dream after developing an interest in aeronautical engineering, is determined to build a successful model.

He is now planning to request the Ministry of Roads and Infrastructure to allow him to test his next aircraft project one of the tarmacked airstrips that are not in use currently

Mr Nderitu said he has incurred a lot of loss since he started his innovation, adding that many of the parts he uses including the engine are all imported.

When the aircraft crash landed on Saturday, it broke and many of its parts were destroyed.
Mr Nderitu said it will take time before he pieces them back to form.
Mid-2014, during a similar test in Nyeri, when Nation team caught up with him, he said he had no training in aeronautical engineering.

He, however, uses the Internet to get the information he uses in his work.
“When I decided to build an aircraft, I bought books related to this line of interest.
“I used the Internet to do my research and for over five years now and the progress is good. Much of what I have done is private research and experimentation,” said Mr Nderitu.

Industrial Court prevents Gov. Wike from sacking 23 LG chairmen

Industrial Court prevents Gov. Wike from sacking 23 LG chairmen

The National Industrial Court in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, has restrained Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, the state House of Assembly and their agents from dissolving or, in any manner whatsoever, interfere with the tenure of office of the 23 local government council chairmen in Rivers State.

A Federal High Court in Port Harcourt, yesterday, adjourned till July 9, for hearing in another suit by the 22 council chairmen against the Rivers State Government. The case is before Justice B. Quadri.

As early as 7a.m., supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and All Progressives Congress, APC, had taken over the premises of the Federal High Court on Station Road, Port Harcourt. To prevent breakdown of law and order, policemen had to close one of the lanes to traffic.

The atmosphere was tense. The trial judge noted that among other things, the issues before him bordered on jurisdiction of the court and abuse of court processes and he urged parties to file their papers correctly. He said that his attention had been drawn to moves by the plaintiffs to secure an order from the National Industrial Court in Bayelsa State. Meanwhile, trial judge of at the National Industrial Court, Justice J. Agbadu-Fishim, made the order, Monday, following an ex-parte application argued by counsel to the council chairmen.Governor Wike, Rivers State Attorney General, Rivers State House of Assembly, Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission, President Muhammadu Buhari, Attorney-General of the Federation and Inspector General of Police are defendants in the suit. Justice Agbadu-Fishim held:
“The governor of Rivers State, the Rivers State House of Assembly and the Attorney-General of Rivers State and their agents are hereby restrained from dissolving, suspending, sacking terminating or in any manner, whatsoever, interfering with the tenure of office of the 23 council chairmen of Rivers State, pending the hearing and determination of the motion on notice for interlocutory injunction.
At the Federal High Court, Port-Harcourt , Attorney General of the state and counsel to Rivers State Government, Emma Aguma, accused the council chairmen of abuse of court process for filing the same process before the National Industrial Court in Bayelsa State. On his part counsel to the plaintiffs, Mr Abiodun Owonikoko, SAN, said his clients did not abuse court process as alleged by the state Attorney General.

Boston Marathon: 21 year old Bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev apologizes to victims after he was sentenced to death

Boston Marathon: 21-year old Bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev apologizes to victims after he was sentenced to death

In a thick Russian accent — with his head bowed and body shaking — the man who appeared cold and emotionless throughout his trial for bombing the Boston Marathon two years ago stood in federal court Wednesday and apologized for detonating one of two explosives at the historic race.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 21, stood nervously in a courtroom packed with survivors, jurors, lawyers and the federal judge who would shortly thereafter formally sentence him to death. He repeatedly invoked his Muslim faith while telling victims, “I am sorry for the lives I have taken, for the suffering I have caused you, and for the terrible damage I have done. Irreparable damage.”

He added, “If there is any lingering doubt, let there be no more. I did do it along with my brother.” Of the bombings, he said, “I am guilty.”

The words of admission and regret, the first he has uttered publicly, followed the powerful testimony of several dozen victims and relatives of the dead gathered in the courtroom. Earlier in the day, 23 of them — some still angry and suffering, others ready to move on and forgive — told the judge how the April 15, 2013, bombings had forever ripped apart their lives.

Many dismissed Tsarnaev's statement as inadequate. “A simple, believable apology would have been nice,” said Lynn Julian, an actress who suffered a concussion in the attack. “But there was nothing sincere or believable in what he said.”
Scott Weisberg, a physician who lost much of his hearing, agreed: “I don't think it was genuine.”

But Henry Borgard, a young college English major who now walks with the aid of a service dog, said he had forgiven Tsarnaev. “I have come to a place of peace, and I genuinely hope he does as well,” Borgard said. “For me to hear him say he is sorry, that is enough for me.”

It was a day of raw emotion in the federal courthouse, beginning with the victims' statements, followed by the startling announcement that Tsarnaev would speak publicly for the first time since the trial began, and ending with U.S. District Judge George A. O'Toole Jr. telling him, “I sentence you to the penalty of death by execution.” Though the federal jury had previously voted to impose the death penalty, O'Toole's sentence made it official.

On Wednesday, Tsarnaev's four-minute statement offered the only firsthand insights to date about the young man's state of mind, motives and thoughts about the attack. Dressed in a dark sport coat and gray shirt, his black hair and beard disheveled, Tsarnaev appeared to have memorized his comments.
“I am a Muslim. My religion is Islam,” he said. “I ask Allah to bestow his mercy on those present here today. I pray for your relief, for your healing, for your well-being, for your strength.

Tsarnaev was escorted out of the courtroom by two U.S. marshals. Prosecutors said he would be taken to federal prison, possibly the supermax fortress in the Colorado Rockies, and eventually to federal death row in Terre Haute, Indiana.

There, he will become the youngest federal inmate, waiting to surrender his life for murdering three people and injuring more than 260 others in the twin pressure-cooker bombings, and for killing a police officer during the subsequent manhunt.

Wow! UCLA football staff want charges against P Diddy dropped

Wow! UCLA football staff want charges against P Diddy dropped

Football coaches at UCLA apparently want the felony charges against Sean 'Diddy' Combs dropped.

According to TMZ
Sources directly connected with the team tell TMZ, the coaches are regretful the situation escalated to an arrest. They think Diddy is a jerk who they'd like to make persona non grata, but they don't want to make this a courtroom spectacle, largely because it would be bad for the team.
Sources with direct knowledge of the confrontation between Diddy and Sal Alosi tell us, after the incident the coaches all decided to just let it go. They believe an intern called UCLA police and when the cops arrived, they asked to see the video and that was enough to hook Diddy up.
We're told head coach Jim Mora does not want a criminal prosecution. The interns who were present and allegedly threatened could press the case, but if Mora is against it they would probably follow suit.
Law enforcement sources tell us ... the case will go to the L.A. County D.A. for felony review next week. The D.A. could prosecute even without victims ... there is a video, but that's problematic.
Diddy claims he picked up the kettlebell in self-defense after Alosi and 4 others made an aggressive move.

"Yesterday's bank robbery attacks were led by a woman"- Eyewitnesses

"Yesterday's bank robbery attacks were led by a woman"- Eyewitnesses

People who witnessed the dare devil robbery at 2 banks at Ikorodu yesterday said the incident was led by a lady. A bank official, who narrated how the robbery took place, said the ecstasy displayed by the robbers was only comparable to “what you see when a footballer scores a decisive goal.”
As some of the gang members held everyone in bank   hostage while looting additional cash from the   strong room, others were doing the same at the First Bank branch in the area.

Satisfied with their bounty,   the gunmen stormed out   and challenged policemen, whose station is opposite the First Bank branch, to confront them.

Even though no policeman was in sight, they displayed more bravado by setting three Sports Utility Vehicles which they drove to the banks, on fire. Before this, they had removed the number plates of the vehicles.
A young lady was said to have led the over one hour attacks which bore semblance of the March 12 robbery in Lekki, Lagos.

Four persons, including a teenage apprentice vulcaniser, simply identified as Rilwan, were injured by the robbers who fled through a jetty in the area.

It was learnt that the bandits, numbering about 16 invaded the banks, located directly opposite the Ipakodo Police Division, at about 9am and started shooting indiscriminately.
They were said to have opened fire at the police station to scare the officers, after which they proceeded with their operation.

It was also learnt that the robbers used dynamite to shatter the rotor doors of the two banks to gain entrance and order members of staff and their customers to lie down.
It was gathered that some of the gunmen were outside the banks firing into the air for over an hour.
Some security operatives, comprising policemen and soldiers, arrived the area around 1.30pm after the robbers had fled.

Punch correspondent, who visited the Ikorodu General Hospital, where the injured victims were taken to, met an employee of the Zenith Bank   and a customer, who gave his name simply as Segun.
The banker (name withheld) and Segun   sustained injuries after hitting their heads on glasses while the teenage vulcaniser and the fourth victim, an okada (motorcycle) rider, were hit by stray bullets.
The bank official narrated the incident to sympathisers and our correspondent who found his way into the hospital.

He said the robbers carted away over N80m from Zenith Bank which “a bullion van was to transport out of the bank.”
The banker said:
“They shouted, ‘open the door, open the door’, but none of us answered them. Suddenly, we heard an explosion and the glass went down. I was wounded by broken glasses.
“One of them entered and when he saw about N20m that we had arranged to put inside our ATMs, he shouted, ‘Area, Zico see money. See money wey we dey look for.’ He started dancing. He pulled a lady among us and ordered her to pack the money inside the bags they brought. After packing the money, the robbers ordered her to lead them to the strong room.
“When the lady opened the strong room, the robber that shouted in the ATM room exclaimed again, ‘Eheeeee, Area, Zico give me bags! Give me bags.   Come and see money wey we dey look for. They packed everything in the strong room; more than N60m. We were expecting a bullion van to move the money before the incident happened.”

Segun, said,
“I was at the ATM section of the Zenith Bank to withdraw money. Suddenly, there were gunshots. Two of the gunmen came in and one of them threw me on the floor. He wanted to shoot, but his colleague told him to leave me.”

Ikechukwu Oyenso, who witnessed the incident said,
“I was at the First Bank at exactly 9am to use the ATM. It was my turn when we suddenly heard gunshots. I saw two of the robbers   shooting directly at the police station and the policemen ran away.
“Some gunmen came into the First Bank. A guy stood outside and two entered the bank.
“They used dynamite to destroy the door of the bank. They entered the banking hall and ordered everybody to lie down. These guys looked young. They were dressed in black and they wore caps. They did not use masks. They robbed for over an hour. It was terrible.”
Another eyewitness, Ademola Fashola, who said he hid somewhere around the jetty area while the robbers escaped narrated this:

“I came to withdraw money from the First Bank ATM, but I changed my mind and headed for Ipakodo, near the jetty. I was there when I heard the gunshots. After they had robbed the banks, the gang leader, a woman, walked while their cars moved towards the Origin Gardens (the jetty area). She dared the police to come out and ordered her gang members not to shoot anybody. She is not up to 20 years. I saw five of them. They dragged the bags that contained the money inside the jetty. I heard one of them calling somebody to pick them. He was shouting ‘Taofeeq, Taofeek, come and pick us now’.”
An eye witness that went by the name Saheed said,
“Where I hid, I saw them carrying bags of money into the jetty. That short woman held the gun, while another guy took the money inside the jetty. When they were about to escape, they removed the number plates of their three cars, poured fuel on them and shot at one of them, which erupted in flames.
“Along that waterfront are naval officers. Where were they then?”
