Checkout This! Bike That Can Take You 500km On A Litre Of Water

A Brazilian man builds clean motorcycle that can travel 300 miles on a liter of water.
Public officer Ricardo Azevedo is turning heads in his hometown of Sao Paulo, Brazil, with his intriguing invention – a motorcycle that runs on water.

The revolutionary bike – aptly dubbed ‘T Power H2O’ – is able to travel up to 310 miles (nearly 500 kilometers) on a single liter of water!

In a recently released video, Azevedo is shown drinking from a water bottle before pouring it into the tank to prove that his bike runs solely on water and not some kind of fuel. But clean water is optional, as he later demonstrates by filling the tank with polluted water from the Tiete River.

"My Husband Is Sexually Weak" Wife Tells Judge

A 39-year-old fashion designer, Mrs Farotimi Titilayo, has appealed to a Lagos Customary Court sitting in Ikorodu to dissolve her eight-year-old marriage over alleged neglect and sexual denial by her husband.

The 39-year-old, who resides at Nosiru Street, Eyita in Ikorodu area of the State told the court that her husband identified as Amos, denies her sex before they both separated.
“My husband was sexually imbalance before I left him in 2011; I reported him to his family but they pleaded on his behalf.
“I bought him drugs to correct his sexual weakness but he refused to take them.
“We have been living separately for over four years now because he refused to find solution to his problems.
“I want this court to officially divorce this marriage because I want to move on with my life; I don’t want to bear his name anymore,’’ she said.
The respondent was, however, not in court despite been served the court’s notices on three different occasions.

In his ruling, the Court President, Mr Olu Adebiyi, noted that the court would not continue to delay hearing of the case as Amos has been absent from proceedings severally.
He added “we will still serve the husband one more time to see if he will attend the next court date.’’
Adebiyi adjourned the case to September 2.

UNILAG Lecturer rapes 18 years old female seeking admission

UNILAG Lecturer rapes 18 years old female seeking admission

A part-time lecturer at the University of Lagos, Akoka, Afeez Baruwa, has been arrested by the police in Lagos for allegedly raping an 18-year-old girl, identified as Caroline (not her real name).

It was learnt that the victim, who was reportedly raped inside a study room, was seeking admission into the University.

Baruwa who was arrested by the Surulere Police Division on Monday, August 3 told the police in his statement that the sexual intercourse was by mutual consent, insisting that he did not rape the victim.

Caroline got to know the lecturer through her Dad because they both belonged to the same landlords’ association in the Abesan, Ipaja area.
It was gathered that the victim’s father had allowed her daughter to follow the lecturer on July 23, to UNILAG for an admission process.
According to reports, Baruwa allegedly took the girl inside one of the study halls, bolted the door, and raped her.
After the incident, Caroline, who told her parents about the rape, was taken to a non-governmental organisation, Mirabel Centre, where she was tested and the medical result reportedly confirmed that the teenager had been raped.

After the confirmation, Caroline was taken to the Lagos State Office of the Public Defender, where the matter was reported at the police station. Baruwa was subsequently arrested.

A police source in Surulere said:
“The suspect is actually a friend of the father of the girl. The girl had written the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, and she needed assistance with the post-UTME.
“So, the father sent her to meet and discuss with the lecturer.
“But, it turned out that on July 23 when the girl visited the suspect, he raped the girl in the study room.
“The suspect confessed to the act, but his claim is that the sex was by mutual consent.”
The Director of the Office of the Public Defender, Mrs. Omotola Rotimi, said the OPD would write a letter to the UNILAG Vice-Chancellor on the incident, so as to ensure that such did not happen again to anyone.
She said,
“The victim’s father wanted the lecturer to assist with his daughter’s admission. On the fateful day, the girl left with the lecturer as early as 5.30am, and they got to the school at about 7am.
“No one had arrived at the hall except a woman. While the exams had yet to start, he raped her. She went home, and the father found out that her daughter had been raped. He took her to the Mirabel Centre, which then informed the OPD.
“The centre also contacted the police at the Surulere and Isokoko divisions, and the suspect was arrested.
“We are going to defend the girl, and we are writing the VC. The suspect is said to be in the Department of Accounting. He claimed the sex was consensual, but that is not a defence.”
Baruwa, who is currently in custody, will be charged to court on today, Thursday, Aug 6th.

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Patricia Amadin, confirmed the arrest.
She said:
“The suspect claims to be a part-time lecturer, but not an employee of the University of Lagos.
“He has confessed to the crime and the medical result proved same.”

Lagos State Government releases N11bn to pay pensioners

The Lagos State Government has released N11bn to pay off pension liabilities in arrears in the state since 2010 to date.

The Head of Service said the government had developed a comprehensive payment plan to resolve all outstanding pension issues in the short, medium and long terms.

The deceased, who until his death, was a driver and machine operator at a private water factory located by Aziza Junction, along Warri-Sapele Road, reportedly died
from wounds sustained from the attack at his Chinkelly Street residence, Ekpan, Uvwie Local Government Area of the state.

Scrap JAMB Now – NANS Demands

Scrap JAMB Now – NANS Demands

The recent controversy rocking the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board following the protest of students and parents have taken another turn.
Following protests by students over what they term as ‘unfair and expliotative policies’ the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has called for the scrapping of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

Its National President, Mr. Tijani Usman, made this known on Monday, August 2, in Abuja when he led a protest to the JAMB headquarters, asserting that the purpose for the establishment of JAMB had been bastardised.

He said:“The reason why we are here is to tell the general public and the government of the day that JAMB has outlived its usefulness. Nigerian students have seen most of the draconian policies of JAMB that it is exploitative.

“You can’t imagine students from NCE, students with Diploma having purchase a form for N5,000 that is expected to be a direct entry or pre-requisite for admission into the schools, JAMB will still connive with the management of institutions to collect what we called “de-regularisation fee”, what do they mean by that?

“Parents have been paying huge sums of money just for their children to get admission into various tertiary institutions, yet JAMB will not give them admission because the body cannot give admission,” he added.
Tijani stated that after writing JAMB, students would still write post-JAMB, which he said is exploitative, explaining that it was in view of this that NANS mobilised the students in order for those anti-student policies to be reversed.

“JAMB must retract those policies, their policies are anti-progressive, Nigerian students are against it, it is either Dibu must leave or JAMB be scrapped,” Tijani stated

South-Africa's First Lady Supports Plot To Poison Husband, President Jacob Zuma

South Africa's First lady Nompumelelo Ntuli-Zuma has reportedly admitted to knowing about a plot to poison the president.
The City Press reports it has well-placed sources indicating she will soon be charged with conspiracy to commit murder.

Ntuli-Zuma was apparently banned from the Nkandla homestead earlier this year following claims of a plot to poison Zuma.

It’s understood a docket has been opened with the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) with sources saying Ntuli-Zuma has made a statement to investigators.
The City Press is reporting that while sources in the NPA say top bosses are aware of the matter, spokesperson Vuyo Mfaku has denied this.

An investigation is now underway to find out whether NPA staff leaked information about the probe.
Ntuli-Zuma was first suspected when the president became ill in June 2014.
Zuma was told that he had been poisoned by more than one doctor during his trip to the US in August last year

Must Read!!! 10 Reasons Why Good Guys Never Get Good Girls

Must Read!!! 10 Reasons Why Good Guys Never Get Good Girls

black couple

Well, for reasons not far-fetched; most men are categorized into two groups, the bad guys and the good guys. This may not be true as we believe that the ideal man is one that walks a fine line between the two groups.
A lot of women say they want a good and nice guy but usually end up dating the bad guys (same way men want the simple ladies but end up dating the “
complicated” ones). And this is why it is usually so.

 Their Personalities Don’t Seem Genuine

The good guys appear too nice and good to be true. Ladies seem to think no one can be that nice unless they’re saintly or from heaven. Truth is the good guys are most times being busy acting too nice than being themselves. The natural instincts of women is to be cautious of this. The bad boys most times keep it real while the nice guys try as much as they may not to upset the ladies.

They Don’t Have Self-Respect!

Nice guys don’t have set boundaries as they would go all the way to please the ladies just as they fail to make any real demands from the ladies. On the other hand, a bad boy would really not allow a woman dictate the pace of the relationship or control him in anyway. Often times, women don’t respect men they can control and when they don’t respect you, they can’t be attracted to you.

They’re so Predictable Which Is quite Boring!

Truth is a lot of people actually live lives that are boring and predictable which makes them attracted to their opposites who are mostly fun filled, unpredictable and exciting. This is exactly what makes bad boys challenging and the nice guys not challenging. Added to the fact that the nice guys lack excitement and fun, a lot of ladies would rather opt for the bad guys.

Loving Bad Boys Is Part Of The Female Genes

Women are made in a way that nurturing is part of their DNA. They nurture almost everything around them from children to family. They also often end up doing it with bad boys because they think living them would save and rescue them from their bad ways. On the other hand, women feel the nice guys rarely need saving as they are often times on the right path.

Buhari Is Just Making Noise -Gov Fayose

Buhari Is Just Making Noise -Gov Fayose

The governor of Ekiti state, Ayodele Fayose, has criticized the anti-corruption stance of the federal government under President Muhammadu Buhari, describing it as mere noise-making, witch-hunt and diversionary tactic to hoodwink the public into overlooking the seeming failure of the government to deliver on its electoral promises.
Speaking through Lere Olayinka, his special assistant on public communications and new media, Fayose said that the president’s recent claim of knowing the location of stolen funds are unwarranted if he indeed has a hang on how to recover them. “If President Mohammadu Buhari knows exactly where the stolen funds are kept and who looted the funds, he does not need all these public announcements.
“Rather, he should make public names of the looters and bring back the purported stolen funds, location of which he has identified. It is when he is able to bring back the money that he should make announcements of recovered funds. “You don’t announce a process to the public. Rather, you announce the results because that is what is of interest to the people. It is like you are announcing that you know where armed robbers reside, won’t they change their location?” Speaking further, he said:
“What the All Progressives Congress (APC) spin-doctors and their collaborators in the presidency are doing is simple. It is such that when there is nothing to tell the people as per the rising Boko Haram attacks, Dollar and other foreign currencies exchange rates, petrol pump price and other seeming failed promises of the APC federal government, they will accuse former president Goodluck Jonathan and his men of corruption, insult Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and make noise about fighting corruption. “President Buhari and his men should however know that Nigeria of today is different from that of 1983 and the system under which they are operating now is also different. Nigerians are watching and unlike 1983, nothing can prevent them from asking questions, which they are already asking.” He challenged Buhari to start the anti-corruption fight from his party, saying that Nigerians know those who the president’s election and are waiting for him to reveal their sources of income. “Some of those who sponsored the president’s election have not done any other jobs apart from holding public offices.
Yet, they provided private jets and funds with which the president campaigned across the length and breadth of Nigeria. He should let Nigerians know where they got money to buy private jets and the several billions of naira spent on his election. “Mr President and his men should know that these planned efforts to brand PDP as a party of corrupt people and suppress the giant strides of the Jonathan administration won’t work because Nigerians know that APC is peopled with more corrupt people and the President must treat the issue of corruption without looking at political parties. “No one sits with corruption to fight corruption because as it is today, President Buhari is sitting among corrupt people and he must first extricate himself from the comity of corruption that he is before his anti-corruption stance can be accorded respect.”
