8.1 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Mexico



Early this morning, a magnitude 8.0 earthquake struck off the coast of Mexico. It has now upgraded to 8.1. The tremor stuck at a depth of 33 kilometers (20 miles) and triggered a tsunami warning off the coast of Chiapas, Mexico.

World Cup 2018: Any hope for the African champion?



Super Eagles of Nigeria played a 1-1 draw with their opponent, the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon at Stade Ahmadou Ahidjoin, Yaounde on Monday and have moved closer to qualifying for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

It was indeed a great feat by Nigeria's Super Eagles as they tore in pieces the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon with a comprehensive 4-0 win at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium,Uyo.





Goals From Odion Ighalo, John Obi Mikel, Victor Moses and Kelechi Iheanacho brought the Super Eagles ahead of the Indomitable Lions. Nigeria remain top of Group B with 9 points, seven more than the Indomitable Lions, who they will travel to Yaounde to face in the return leg on Monday.
