Fashola declares Feb.6th work-free day



LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT DECLARES FEB. 6TH WORK FREE DAY





The Lagos State Government has declared tomorrow, Friday February 6, 2015 a work-free day for civil servants in the State who are yet to collect their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) ahead of the February 2015 general elections.
 He also enjoined the private sector employers to release their workers early so as to avail themselves for the collection of their PVCs.
The state governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola, made this known through the Head of Service of the state, Mrs Oluseyi Williams.
Fashola stated that “ the prosperity and brighter rewarding future we all seek for ourselves and our children, over the next four years, will be determined by what we do in the next few days."
He also added that, no sacrifice could be too much a price to secure a better future over the next four years and beyond.
Every citizen from 18 years is eligible to vote, hence, go for your PVC and effect the much needed CHANGE Nigerians crave for.
