Tevez Shines As Juve Outclass Dortmund in UEFA Champs
Carlos Tevez was at his brilliant best as Juventus stormed into the
quarter-finals of the Champions League by beating Borussia Dortmund 3-0
at Signal Iduna Park to progress 5-1 on aggregate.
The Argentine opened the scoring after less than 60 seconds of play with a stunning strike from outside of the area with an impressive lack of back-lift.
Tevez then teed up Alvaro Morata for a tap-in midway through the second half before putting the seal on a stunning away win for the Bianconeri with a fine finish 11 minutes from time.
In the other game of the night, Manchester City could only look forward to a non-existent miracle as they slumped 1-0 to Barcelona at the Nou Camp yesterday night, in their last-16 second leg tie.

Sergio Aguero had a chance to spark a potential comeback – with Ivan Rakitic having given Barca a first-half lead on the night – but saw his spot-kick saved as the home side ran out 3-1 aggregate winners to progress to the quarter-finals.
Barca had a number of opportunities to win by a greater margin, with Lionel Messi particularly impressive, but were repeatedly denied by either the woodwork or Joe Hart – though the England goalkeeper’s superb performance was in vain.
