Lassa Fever confirmed in Ondo state
Ondo State government yesterday confirmed a case of Lassa Lever at the Owo/Ose in Owo and Ose Local Governments Areas of the state while two other suspected cases are under investigation. The victims have been transferred to Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital in Edo State for adequate treatment.
The State Commissioner for Health, Dayo Adeyanju, made this known in Akure, Ondo State capital, adding that the surveillance measures have been put in place to prevent a spread of the dreaded disease.
